Abstract for readers: PSP bundles include games packaged in for free, as opposed to just buying a PSP 3000 console on its own. Two types of PSP bundle exist – PSP console bundles and PSP games bundles, this article is of the first type PSP deals.
PSP 3000 Bundles
Just in time for Christmas, ten new Sony PSP 3000 bundles have gone on sale. Growing in popularity throughout school playgrounds, what kid doesn’t want a PSP bundle or gaming pc bundle this year? Popular games consoles need to offer great games for girls too. With that, Sony PSP games makers (could it be Santa Claus?) have been busy making cute girly games to rival Nintendo’s Littelest Pet Shop and Nintendogs.
A guide to the 10 best PSP games (in console bundles)
1- Invizimals PSP Go!Cam Camera + Trap: Pokemon meets Ghostbusters. Hunt down mysterious creatures using the PSP camera and trap them. Challenge friends to duels, and join the Invizimal club for extended combat.
2- Dissidia Final Fantasy: One of the best RPG games. Dissidia’s graphics are suburb on PSP as one would expect from a Final Fantasy Game.
3 – Gran Turismo: The ultimate PlayStation driving simulator.
4 – Hannah Montana “Rock Out The Show”: A Lilac PSP 3000! Star in your own Show. Go on tour, and design the stages in Hannah Montana (best one for girls)
5 – Petz PSP 300 console bundle: Petz comes with 2 PSP games, Baby Hamster and My Puppy Family.
6 – Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince PSP: This one even has a magic colour: vibrant blue console and game bundled in as the title implies.
7 – Aqua Console and Little Big Planet: The classic PlayStation 3 game hits PlayStation Portables this year and in Aqua. Sackboy or Sackgirl if you prefer, can be likened to one big adventure full of customisations.
8 – Assassin’s Creed Bloodlines: PSP’s stealth title for older guys and girls.
9 – Need for Speed Undercover: Another PlayStation portable racing game.
10 – Monster Hunter: Taking Japan by storm, multi-player Monster Hunter has sparked an entirely new game genre.

The new PSP 3000 bundles are shaping up better than ever. PSP 3000’s now feature a bigger screen, a built-in microphone, and MILO communicator for online chat such as Go! Messenger and Skype. Some important advice: Don’t expect to buy Mario games on PSP consoles. Mario games are on Nintendo’s. Secondly, PSP 3000 has a UMD game port so it’s not to be confused with Sony PSPgo which doesn’t have a UMD game port. Essentially no game port means no PSP game will play on it. PSPgo uses download only games from PSN (non-transferable).
PlayStation 3 also features Hulu, Netflix, YouTube and Amazon video. For those that are on the fence about getting a console now or waiting until the next generation of gaming consoles, consider the multitude of additional content you get when purchasing a console bundle. Controllers, games, internet game play and access would cost much more than you would pay for the bundle.
Games for these consoles often are $40-60 new and Xbox Live is an additional monthly cost if you want to experience online game play. When purchasing a new console, one can see the benefit of buying a console game bundle: not only do you save money in the long run, but you also get an all in one package that allows you to experience all the console has to offer without having to buy all the pieces over time.
These bundles are widely available at any major retailer and often come with today’s most popular games and add on devices like the Kinect. Next time you are looking to make a major console purchase, choose a bundle to get the best bang for your buck!
